Project description:
Recently, there has been a boom in technology 4.0 applications in rural areas. In general, these technologies involve the collection of large amounts of data by means of sensors or drones and its subsequent transfer to other platforms in order to be processed and easily accessed online. This technology has extremely wide applications. However, the devices used for collection (drones) are usually uniform. This project proposes the creation of protocols for the assembly of drones manufactured specifically for the client’s needs in terms of their configuration and flight characteristics (time, type, precision, autonomy) based on modifiable prototypes. Additionally, it is precisely the processing of this large amount of data that is the least developed phase, and the one involving the highest costs when raw data is transformed into information relevant to the client. In this project, we propose the creation of protocols and computer tools for automatic data collection and processing by means of unmanned flights (drones), so that costs are reduced. This project will involve the development of new functionalities for existing products in the market, such as drones and multispectral cameras.
